1. What is NovaQuest and how is it different from tuition?

NovaQuest is a thinking development academy for children aged 12 & above. It is not tuition; we do not help your child score better on the next exam. What we do is give your child real, unfamiliar problems with no instructions, no answer key, and no trainer stepping in to fix it. That ability to think through a problem independently is what NovaQuest builds

2. Will my child's marks improve if they join NovaQuest?

We won’t promise that, and we think it’s important to be honest. NovaQuest is built to improve the thinking behind the marks, not the marks themselves. Parents do notice that children who think more clearly tend to understand their subjects more deeply over time, but if marks are the only goal right now, we’d rather tell you that upfront.

3. My child is already doing well in school. Why would they need this?

Scoring well means your child is good at learning what they’re taught and answering what they’re asked. That’s a real skill, but it’s a different skill from facing a problem nobody taught them and figuring it out alone. NovaQuest closes that gap while your child is still young enough for it to become a habit.

4. What actually happens in a NovaQuest session? What will my child do there?

Your child walks into a session with no idea what problem they’ll face. By the end of it, they’re standing up and explaining exactly how they solved it. That shift, from not knowing where to start to explaining every step of their thinking, is what happens every single session.

5. How is NovaQuest different from activity programmes or hobby classes my child already attends?

Activity programmes are built for engagement. NovaQuest is built for capability, and the difference is that we deliberately design sessions so the first attempt fails. We don’t rescue your child mid-problem, and we measure nothing except whether they can explain their own thinking independently at the end.
