This policy explains what NovaQuest collects when you use novaquest.in, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers this website, our launch RSVP form, and our WhatsApp messages to you.

What you give us directly
When you RSVP for our launch or ask us to get in touch, we collect:
- Your WhatsApp number — required, and verified with a one-time code so we know it is really yours.
- Your name, and whether you are a parent, teacher, student or simply curious.
- Your area or town.
- Your child’s first name, class and school, if you choose to tell us. These fields are optional and you can skip them.
- What interested you, and any note you choose to add.
- Whether you attended our launch event, if you came.
Everything after your phone number is optional. Skipping it does not affect your RSVP.
What is collected automatically
- Technical information — your IP address, browser and device type, the page you landed on, and the site or advert that referred you.
- Campaign tags — the
utm_parameters in the link you clicked, so we know which advert or post brought you here. - A first-party cookie (
nq_track_data) holding that campaign information for up to 30 days, plus small identifiers stored in your browser so we can count one visit once rather than many times.
Why we use it
- To confirm your RSVP and send you the launch details on WhatsApp.
- To answer you when you contact us, and to tell you about NovaQuest programmes you have asked about.
- To understand which adverts and pages actually work, so we spend our advertising budget sensibly.
- To keep the site secure and working, and to prevent abuse of the code-verification step.
We ask for your consent before sending you WhatsApp updates, and we rely on that consent for marketing messages. For security, basic analytics and running the site, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating NovaQuest.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do not use it to make automated decisions about you or your child.
Who else processes it
These companies handle data on our behalf, under their own privacy policies:
- Omni5 — sends our WhatsApp verification codes and messages.
- Meta (WhatsApp and the Meta Pixel) — delivers our WhatsApp messages and measures advert performance.
- Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Google Ads) — website analytics and advert measurement.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymised recordings of how pages are used, so we can find what is broken or confusing. Form fields containing your details are masked and are not recorded.
Some of these companies store data outside India.
Children
This site is aimed at parents and adults, not children. Where you give us a child’s first name, class or school, you are doing so as their parent or guardian and only so we can prepare for their visit. We do not ask children for their own information, and we do not advertise to them.
How long we keep it
RSVP and enquiry details are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Verification codes expire within minutes. Website analytics are retained for up to 14 months.
Your choices
- Stop the WhatsApp messages at any time by replying STOP. It takes effect immediately.
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it if it is wrong.
- Ask us to delete it. We will, unless we are required to keep it.
- Opt out of analytics using your browser’s Do Not Track or an ad-blocker; you can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.
Write to hello@novaquest.in and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry records is limited to NovaQuest staff who need it, and is password-protected. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
